Lethbridge, Canada Matrix Labour Leasing Ltd. Full time

Matrix is recruiting a Manufacturing Manager to work out of our client’s Bow Island Manufacturing Facility in support of their modular construction projects throughout western Canada and the USA.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze, assess, improve and document current manufacturing processes and efficiencies in direct input, team-coordinated fashion
- Develop and implement processes to meet and exceed production and quality targets.
- Monitor staff performance and engage directly on performance improvement.
- Mentor and train employees on continuous improvement tools, strategies, techniques, and individual efficiency improvements.
- Working with the team, recruit staff to meet production targets.
- Advise senior management team on growth strategies to maximize current facility.
- Advise senior management team on factory expansion and automation advancements.
- Continually improve the company’s manufacturing best practices and tools.
- Other duties as reasonably requested.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5-10 years of previous experience in manufacturing management.
- Strong communication, planning and organizational skills.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate others.
- Experience managing multiple project schedules and budgets.
- Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Projects, Smartsheet).
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to interpret and understand construction drawings and related documents.
