**Details**: - Job Type- Full Time**Description**: Wightman is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to support the operations of the Access Network Department. Reporting to the Manager of Access Network Design, the Project Inspector is responsible for the testing, inspection and as constructed data collection of construction and maintenance activities for conformance to Wightman standards. **Duties and Responsibilities**: - Travel daily to site locations to Monitor Construction Progress. - Complete audits/verification of field records and installations. - Access flush to grade vaults for visual inspection. - Testing of tracer continuity with a Vivax Locator. - Field Data collection with GPS (Training provided). - Exporting & Uploading As Constructed Data. - Material Handling, Delivery & Inventory Control. - Assist with Field Designs and Approvals. **Core Competencies (Skills & Attributes)**: - Safety Conscious. - Punctual and consistent attendance required. - Must be able to see and distinguish different colors and read fine print. - Proficiency in the use of MS Office software. - Ability to learn job specific software (CAD, SpatialNET). - Must be receptive to changing priorities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Qualifications**: - Valid Driver’s license & Clean driving abstract. - Solid understanding of Utility Construction. - Experience with Utility Locating. - Rough Terrain Forklift Ticket (or Training Provided) **Working Conditions/Physical Demands**: - This position requires extensive physical demands such as carrying, kneeling, bending, and work in all types of weather conditions. - Specialized training consists of, but is not limited to, “Work Area Protection," “Electrical Awareness,” WHMIS, and “Defensive Driving.” - Additional demands include driving, working with small tools and objects, working autonomously and following tight schedules. **How To Apply**:
