**General Technician / Stagehand Responsibilities and Duties**
- Flawlessly execute events through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of audiovisual equipment including audio, lighting, video, rigging, and staging.
- Understand the technical aspects of the job and demonstrate basic operational ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with equipment and software issues.
- Handle equipment challenges and changes in a timely and professional manner.
- Understand company processes, follows procedures and complete all tasks accordingly.
- Interact with other staff and outside vendors as needed.
- Communicate with clients in a professional manner while on job sites.
- Strive to exceed the expectations and needs of customers and maintain a positive relationship

**Truck Driver** **Responsibilities and Duties** **(not mandatory for General Technician calls)**
- Perform deliveries and pick-ups as required by the company in a safe and timely manner
- Assist with loading & unloading trucks and the set-up and dismantle of audiovisual equipment
- Plan your route to ensure punctuality (road closures, weather etc)
- Communicate all pertinent information to dispatch _(i.e. - time delays, truck issues etc)_
- Maintain truck log and inspect equipment and supplies _(tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil etc)_
- Execute the proper security and storage of equipment for transportation
- Always respect company truck policies and obey all moving and parking laws

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Minimum one (1) year related industry experience or equivalent combination.
- Ability to clearly set up and operation of high-end audio, video, and lighting equipment.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret equipment specifications and ground plans.
- Ability to deal with problems quickly and effectively.
- Physical Ability to lift up to 75 Pounds
- Ability to communicate in person or over the phone how to perform various equipment related operation.
- Truck driving experience is an asset

**Truck Driver Qualifications** (not mandatory for General Technician calls):

- Valid “G2” Ontario Driver’s License & a clean record
- Comfortable driving trucks up to 26 feet
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Minimum one year truck driving experience

**NOTE: This position requires the ability to accommodate a flexible schedule; including nights, weekends and holidays.**

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
