- Desired Skills: Industry experience in the fabrication of devices and/or thin film coatings, with a thorough understanding of the effect of process conditions on the performance of the microdevices. especially in transfer processes,_

Qualifications:

- Bachelor or Master in electrical engineering, physics, material science, chemistry, engineering physics or related STEM fields. PhD is a plus.
- 2-5 years of industry experience in microdevice fabrication, characterization, and micro-device transfer methods.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in developing process recipes for microdevices like LEDs, and TFTs including hands-on experience with lithography and etching tools.
- Strong expertise in coating process development using vacuum deposition systems.
- Familiarity with software tools for device designing.
- Self-motivated and creative/innovative.
- Data-driven with strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Good analytical/modelling skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Designing, fabrication and investigation of the performances of microdevices used in the display and semiconductor industry such as LEDs, TFTs and others.
- Transferring microdevices from one substrate to another substrate using sophisticated processes and help in developing transferring techniques.
- Performing depositions on various vacuum deposition techniques (CVD and PVD systems) and able to perform polymer coatings and relevant characterizations.
- Help the managers in developing materials and process roadmaps and strategies.
- Participate in the development of process conditions for Omniply’s products and able to create SOPs for different processes and able to design different experiments.
- Manage materials and process development projects.
- Effectively communicate the results to Omniply’s management
- Document the results in comprehensive technical reports

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
