Independent Paper Converters is looking for a **Night**Shift Machine Operator **to assist in the production of various packaging goods. **SUN**-THURS 11PM-7AM (5x 8hrs Shifts)**

Operation of **a Machine **as efficiently as possible to produce a quality product with minimum waste and errors.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Setting up machines to job specifications.
- Readying and installing rolls up to 3,000 lbs. onto machine and adjusting with employee assistance.
- Readying finished product for shipment
- Maintaining a clean work station and reporting any unsafe conditions.
- Other duties as required by management.

Independent Paper Converters has been producing quality paper and laminated products since 1978.

We are a family-owned business located in Guelph, Ontario.

We are the largest Canadian manufacturer of plain and printed water-activated kraft and non-reinforced sealing tapes.

We also manufacture self-sticking cohesive kraft papers for the packaging industry, poly/tissue dairy and meat case liners and meat/fish pads for the retail food industry, as well as cohesive/cold seal products, such as furniture wrap and giblet wrap.

Salary**:Based on experienced**. For 40 Hours / Week + Shift Premiums

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: An asset

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Personal Suitability: Punctuality, Team player, Excellent oral communication, Dependability, Initiative, Flexibility, Reliability

Permanent, Overtime after 40 hrs
