**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Implementing traffic control plans according to project requirements.
- Assess and Adjust measures as conditions change.
- Oversee the use of various traffic control devices to direct traffic and secure roadways.
- Ensure that work zones are safe for workers and the public.
- Identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
- Ensure that traffic control personnel (TCPs) are trained and certified.
- Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with multiple subcontractors and team members.
- Maintain accurate records and daily logs.

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years proven experience in Construction Industry.
- Valid BC Traffic Control Certification.
- Thorough understanding of the BC Traffic Management Manual 2020.
- Knowledge of traffic best practices, traffic regulations, and conditions is required.
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effectively oversee a large on-site traffic control crew.
- Sound knowledge of MS Office suite, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to work variable shift work, that may include nightshifts or weekends
- Valid Class 5 drivers' license.

**Schedule**
- Shifts vary and weekends may be required.
- Average of 50-72 hours a week

Pay: $33.91 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 72 per week
