Job description

Wei Bar is a local dive-bar inspired by creativity that goes beyond the tradition and ordinary. We offer a selection of local craft beers, classic cocktail drinks, and simplified bar snacks. We also offer a variety of goods including lotto tickets (OLG) and cigarettes.

We are looking for mature, hard working, self motivated, and reliable individuals who possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Learn and maintain knowledge of all beverages featured in our menus.
- General knowledge of standard cocktails and highballs.
- Provide snack and beverage service to guests.
- Prepare beverages promptly and accurately for guests.
- Maintain cleanliness behind the bar.
- Any other duties as requested by manager
- Ensure that all guests benefit from current, ongoing and upcoming promotions.
- Assist in the training and development of new employees when required.
- Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the restaurant.
- Collect payments from guests in a timely manner.
- Check with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their beverage and take action to correct any problems.
- Check guests identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages, purchasing OLG tickets and cigarettes.
- Clean tables or counters after guests have finished dining.
- Stock service areas with supplies

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Smart Serve Certified
- Ability work in a fast-paced environment
- Correct math without aid
- Professional and outgoing attitude
- Assertive
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Minimum 1 years of experience bartending or barback preferred
- Excellent communication
