**Responsibilities**:
The Cashier is responsible for the accurate handling of restaurant / outlet financial transactions. This position ensures prompt and courteous service to all restaurant guests.

Please note this position is for a weekend shift: Saturday & Sunday from approx. 2pm to 11pm.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure cashier stand is fully stocked
- Process guest transactions, including sales, payment processing, and making change, according to POS and cash handling procedures.
- Print Food and Beverage end of day reports.
- Answer restaurant phone. Take phone orders, as needed.
- Maintain positive and professional communication with all staff.
- Ensure a healthy and safe work environment for co-workers and guests.
- Be knowledgeable of property facilities, services, hours of operation, in-house events, conferences, and amenities to proactively assist guests.
- Promote property outlets to guests.
- Assist guests in finding locations within the property by escorting, when possible, or giving clear directions.
- Resolve guest complaints.
- Listen to comments, criticisms, and feedback from guests, employees, and managers to gain an understanding of strength and opportunity to improve personal/property performance.
- Always smile and offer a warm greeting to all.
- Perform duties in accordance with company standards, policies, and guidelines, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Know, understand, and practice (with energy and enthusiasm) the mission, values, mottos, culture and spirit that make Hard Rock unique.

Qualifications:
**REQUIREMENTS**

**EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS**
- Performs duties which require bending & reaching
- Standing or moving, for up to 8+ hours
- Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.
- Maintains a well-groomed appearance
- Follows all uniform guidelines
- Practicing all general safety & sanitation standards
- Recycling products, where possible
- Remaining calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere
- Demonstrating a high level of organization, attention-to-detail and a sense-of-urgency
- Displaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers
- Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment.
