Join us today **The Position** In the role of Banquet Server, if you enjoy food service, providing a high level of customer service to our guests and ultimately assisting in our team's goal of creating a welcoming atmosphere that will bring our patrons back time after time - we are interested in hearing from you **Key Responsibilities** - Service breakfast, lunch and dinner to banquet functions and events - Prepare food and beverages and maintain presentation in Entertainment Centre, Concession and Banquet facilities - Set up Banquet facilities for a variety of functions and events - Accept monies for items sold and balance float - Satisfy guest requests - Must provide superior customer service to internal and external customers - Perform other duties as assigned **What You’ll Require** - Must have the ability to work well under pressure - Previous food service and cash handling experience an asset - Previous concession experience including back-stage catering, meeting set-ups and coffee break service is an asset - Pleasant and outgoing personality - Able to handle large volume in a fast paced environment - Able to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays - Able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly during a shift - French language skills (verbal and written) are an asset - All employees at Casino Rama are expected to: - Comply with the duties of workers or supervisors, as prescribed by Section 27 or 28 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act - Comply with all applicable Casino Rama Occupational Health and Safety policies, procedures and protocols - Demonstrate a positive health and safety attitude to ensure Casino Rama continuously provides a safe entertainment destination for patrons and co-workers **What Is Next** - _ - **Gateway will post/recruit in accordance with the terms and conditions of applicable Collective Agreements_ - _ "Play Smart" To ensure that Casino Rama Resort is compliant with Provincial Regulations governing the age that you are able to enter/access a casino, no individuals that are under the age of nineteen (19) are permitted to access the Gaming Floor unless explicit approval has been received (i.e. hired as an employee).
