Balena Projects Ltd. is an international freight forwarding company covering a complete spectrum of transportation requirements our customers might have.

**We are looking for**

An efficient Business Development Executive for our organization. The one who can professionally build a network of business contacts and work on that network to identify, pursue and win new businesses adding to our organizational growth and expansion.

As the Business Development Executive, you will be calling on business accounts such as Oil and Gas companies, companies in Chemical industry, Engineering firms (EPCs) as well as companies related to the infrastructure development and a variety of other similar organizations. You will be backed up with very professional and experienced inside sales and operations personnel to support your success in any way possible. You will have a chance to make a real difference here

You will participate in building and leading the execution of annual business plans, be responsible for generating and responding to project leads.

**Responsibilities**:

- Have a passion to win projects that help our clients be on top of their production targets
- Starting client relationships to seek out and secure specific opportunities where Balena Projects’ experience and expertise can be demonstrated
- Work with existing clients to explore opportunities to sell new and expanded services
- Analysing networking opportunities from a business development perspective and playing leading role to plan and participate in relevant events and conferences
- Achieving annual and monthly sales objectives and targets along with the senior officers in Balena Projects Ltd.
- Maintaining detailed knowledge of the company’s products, services and business approach as well as competitors’ activity

**Qualifications**:

- Degree from university or college diploma in business administration, commerce, marketing is an asset
- Minimum 3 years of experience preferably in logistics but definitely in business development, sales or marketing
- Prior experience in logistics, project management, heavy industry is a strong asset
- Experience developing and implementing business development plans
- Existing network of business contacts in North America, within industry sectors of our interest
- Know-how to building and sustaining strong network of industry contacts as well as working with national industry and trade associations.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
