Who You Are
The People Team is seeking an A-player experienced HR Business Partner who is passionate, customer centric and enjoys working in a high growth, fast paced and dynamic organization. We are looking for a strategic, problem solving, relationship minded HR expert who values inclusivity, teamwork and collaboration to achieve results. While you have a rich set of tools and experiences to draw on, you understand that every organization offers a unique set of challenges. You balance a drive for results with empathy and you first actively listen and seek to understand. You are objective, operate with integrity and take a balanced, thoughtful approach as you pursue the right direction in partnership with your client group. You know to collaborate with the business effectively, first you must learn the business and build your organizational acumen. You understand every person is important to the success of our business, from Senior leader to new graduate, and you act in a manner consistent with this mindset. You are a credible, trusted advisor who balances people and performance, valuing objectivity and strong business partner relations.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will work alongside a group of talented HR experts to support the business in our next stage of high velocity, scale up growth. Your client group alignment will include Senior leaders, Managers/Team Leaders and individual contributors, from various teams across the business. You like to roll up your sleeves, wear many hats and enjoy variation in your day. You can adapt and provide HR support to many types of teams from technical disciplines, such as Cybersecurity experts, to a regionally dispersed Sales team, including quota carrying and go to market roles.
What You Are Great At
Your top priority will be supporting your client groups in a responsive, trustworthy and customer centric manner aligned to the goals of eSentire and the People organization.
- Provide overall value and relationship management to portfolio of customers
- Manage customer expectations and demonstrate HR expertise in a calm, objective and supportive manner
- Be the point of contact in true generalist fashion representing the people programs, such as performance acceleration, goal setting, compensation, employee engagement and supporting talent acquisition activities with the recruitment team
- Understand the broader business perspective and make data-oriented decisions accordingly in partnership with leaders, finance and the People team
- Provide strategic guidance and coaching to build strong HR capabilities in the leadership teams you support, aligning to company’s business priorities
- Handle Employee Relations matters in a discrete, timely and professional manner; never compromising confidentiality
Your Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, ideally with a focus in high tech
- Post-secondary education (in HR or Business) an asset, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Experience working with Ceridian Dayforce, or other HRIS
- Strong knowledge of other HR functional areas and practices including but not limited to employee relations/applicable laws and regulations, compensation, performance, health and safety and industry best practices
- Knowledge/experience supporting teams in multiple countries
