Connected Vehicles is a Stage 4/5 startup that supplies leading telematics product to commercial clients in North America. We are located in Guelph have a great small team, we have strong industry products, we have strong clients with a very low churn rate and most of all; we have fun What we don't have is a BDR team that supports our growth path **In this role, you will**: - Work closely and collaboratively with Account Managers (also known as sales reps) to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies - Schedule discovery meetings for an account managers to further assess a prospect's business potential - Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned - Help small and mid-sized companies realize the potential of asset tracking & business intelligence - Use top of the line lead development tools and build out our CRM (Salesforce) - Set yourself up for a successful career by learning the necessary fundamentals to be a great salesperson, leader, and/or future executive **We're looking for people who have**: - Previous successful sales experience OR a strong desire to begin a sales career - Previous sales experience in which you demonstrated the ability to meet or exceed sales quotas a plus (but not required) - A track record of high achievement - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with peers who challenge you to be better - The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals - Are naturally curious and passionate - The technical aptitude to master our sales tools - A keenly developed competitive nature - A "one-speed" energy with a highly self-driven sense of motivation - The ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection on a daily basis **Benefits**: - Company events - Company pension - Dental care - Disability insurance - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Vision care - Wellness program Schedule: - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Commission pay Ability to commute/relocate: - Kitchener, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): - Legally Entitled to work in Canada? **Experience**: - sales: 1 year (preferred)
