Reporting to the Principal, this position will be responsible for the management of the school office and supervision of the workflow of the secretarial staff.
The successful applicant for this Temporary Educational Support Staff position, Level F, will be **working 35 hours per week, 12 months per year, effective as soon as possible.**

**Responsibilities***
- Supervise and coordinate administrative functions performed by support staff within the main office, counseling office, student activities, library, or other assigned areas;
- Promote and maintain effective relations between teachers and support staff;
- Promote and maintain efficient office procedures and record keeping;
- Coordinate September Start Up and Semester Switch over;
- Supervise the compiling of school reports; staffing and enrolment statistics; monthly enrolment reports; prepare, check and approve timesheets and other school data;
- Update school Website, Staff Handbook, Co-ordinate Examinations, EQAO Literacy, Timetabling, Commencement, Parents’ Night;
- Receive and initiate communication at the school;
- Liaise with other schools and the Education Centre;
- Support the vision, philosophy and procedures of the school; and
- Other duties as assigned by the school administration.
**Qualifications***
- A Secondary School Graduation Diploma is required;
- Extensive experience with Aspen, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, Word Press and BAS, GAFE, Windows computer environment, and School Connect is required;
- Extensive knowledge with School Day;
- Experience with OnSIS is required;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with students, teachers and the public;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to complete assigned duties with mínimal supervision;
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form;
- Ability to exercise high level of confidentiality and discretion;
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of the administrative team of the school; and
- Previous work experience in a secondary school office is required.
