Industrial Finisher

**JOB TITLE**: Industrial Finisher - Millwork / Cabinet Door Finisher

**DEPARTMENT**: Finishing

**REPORTS TO**: Foreman

**LOCATION**: 68 Schooner St - Coquitlam BC

**POSITION OBJECTIVE**:
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Receive doors and sort based on our sorting system on to door racks.

2. able to maintain a clean Paint booth and work environment

3. Establish work schedules (Planning), oversee safety of operations on site. Review and evaluates production rates to maintain the schedule outlined by project managers.

4. Accurate preparation and submission of amount of materials needed and supplies running low.

5. Training and transfer of knowledge to shop crews, foreman, and PM's.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
Valid Driver’s License

Completion of high school, (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.)

Experience: Minimum 5 years of Finishing experience of for small and Large projects. Knowledge of Kremlin pumps and HVLP Paint equipment of various types is required.

Experience in sanding, spray and wipe stains, Post-Cat Conversion Varnish and Paints, on Solid wood, Veneer or MDF parts.

Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in finishing in a Mill-work shop environment.

**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- First Aid Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, confined space awareness.
