**What you will be doing**:
- Providing exemplary guest service to WinSport guests, including programs, attractions, directions, rental equipment, and FAQ’s
- Greeting and socializing with guests at all touch points, bringing positivity and enthusiasm to your interactions as one of the first points of interaction during their visit - locations include the Guest Services desk, the Call Centre, and the Rental Shop
- Answering questions about the park and surrounding area
- Creating an environment of fun both internally and with all our guests
- Maintaining the highest level of service quality while dealing with busy periods and large volumes of guest comments, inquiries, and requests
- _ Guest Services Desk & Call Centre specific responsibilities:_
- Communicate to guests on services and products available at WinSport to enable them to make the most informed decision on a purchase
- Process program registrations, facility memberships, passes, waivers, rental paperwork, and daily tickets, ensuring accuracy and full completion
- Complete sales transactions with efficiency, including cash handling
- _ Rental Shop specific responsibilities:_
- Efficiently facilitate the set-up, delivery, and return of rental equipment, including ski, snowboard, and bike equipment
- Support guests in completing rental waivers and paperwork, ensuring accuracy and full completion of the documents
- Inspect all rental equipment prior to use, ensuring parts are maintained and equipment is set safely, and coordinate with Rental Technicians for any required equipment repair.
**What you bring**:
- 1+ years of guest service experience required
- Prior cash handling and point-of-sale experience an asset
- A positive and passionate personality with the natural ability to communicate with people and express a guest-friendly attitude consistently
- Ability to work effectively within a team dynamic under stressful and busy situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Able to handle conflict and make independent, time sensitive decisions
- Proactive, energetic, and ability to multi-task
- Able to take initiative and can adapt to frequently changing environments
- Computer skills are an asset
- Previous experience working in a rental shop is an asset
- Flexible to work a variety of shift times and hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays (full/open availability in December-March is preferred).
- Full availability on weekends in November-March is required.
- Full availability between December 22 - January 6 is required.
**You will be**:
- Standing for long periods of time
- Heavy lifting, including bending and reaching
- Performing task that require manual dexterity and computer use
