Lewkowich Engineering Associates Ltd. (LEA) is a professional engineering services firm, established locally in 1994. LEA provides geotechnical engineering, materials testing, and hazardous building materials testing services to Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast, and the surrounding Gulf Islands, with offices in Nanaimo and Courtenay. We employ a full-time team of thirty-five, including administration staff, industrial hygienists, environmental scientists, certified technicians, technologists, and Professional Engineers and Geoscientists.

**Who You Are**
LEA is currently looking for laboratory analysts with knowledge in Asbestos analysis and Mould identification.

You enjoy both laboratory work and reporting, as well as field sampling and site visits.

You will be based out of our Nanaimo office.

**Key Qualifications**
Post secondary Bachelor of Science degree, or similar.

Experience in the hazardous materials industry is preferred.

Experience with Deltek Vision is an asset.

Ability to manage around tight deadlines and still get the details right.

Must be fluent in written and spoken English.

Laboratory Duties Include: Field Duties Include:
Bulk Asbestos Analysis by PLM Asbestos Inventories

Asbestos Fibre Counting by PCM Hazardous Materials Surveys

Spore Identification & Enumeration Mould Assessments

Mould Culture Identification & Quantification Indoor Air Quality Assessments

Bulk Lead Analysis by XRF Lead Surveys

Lead Air Filters and Surface Wipes by XRF
