Caterpillar & Co brings a refreshing approach to childcare in Toronto's West End (Etobicoke). We are currently seeking **on-call** Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) or experienced Early Childhood Assistants (ECAs) to join our dynamic team. In this flexible **supply position**, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of educator's and support children's development through play-based learning.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish and maintain a developmentally appropriate, healthy, physical, emotional, and social learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, families, community members, and team teachers.
- Plan and facilitate activities that engage and stimulate children’s growth and development.
- Complete required classroom documentation and individual child development records as needed.
- Provide coverage for teachers and staff as required, ensuring the continued high quality of care in their absence.
- Other duties as assigned/required.
- Must be able to fulfill all physical duties.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education and must be a member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
- Valid Infant/Child First Aid and CPR certification.
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Reference Check.
- Up-to-date immunization record.
- 2-step TB test.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Food Handler Certificate is a bonus.

**Compensation and Benefits**:

- Pay: $20-22-per hour, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Flexible, based on supply needs (shifts available on an as-needed basis)
