**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are seeking a creative and passionate Photographer who also loves being a Social Media Content Creator. This person will help elevate Osler Bluff Ski Club’s online presence through action photography on the hill or capturing special events. You will be creating educational, entertaining and valuable content for the Club.

**RESPONISIBILITIES**
- Capturing pictures of events, races, action shots, etc. that are taking place at the Club.
- Regularly create engaging content for Osler Bluff Ski Club’s social media, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused and seeing ways of connecting with our audience.
- Manage and grow social media channels for the Club.
- Develop engaging and visually appealing content, including posts, stories, and videos both on and off the hills.
- Analyze social media trends and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
- Ensure a cohesive brand voice.
- Collaborate with the team to create and execute social media strategies.
- Edit and shoot videos, ensuring high-quality production.
- Manage online social media messaging and conversations.
- Plan and schedule social media content for long
- and short-term objectives.
- Responsible to getting on-hill action shots.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Strong experience with photography.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools, especially social media (Instagram, Youtube).
- Experience with sports photography would be an asset.
- Experience with drone photography would be an asset.
- Ability to ski and/or snowboard would be an asset.
- Experience in Final Cut or other advanced video editing techniques an asset.
- Intermediate graphic design skills to create visually appealing image-based material on Canva Pro, Photoshop.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment, virtual and in-person.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in an environment where unanticipated changes in demands often necessitate a change in priorities.
- Strong judgment, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Possess excellent verbal and written skills.
- Possess professional maturity, sensitivity and impeccable integrity that exemplify the Club’s core values.

**Conditions of Employment**
- This role will be done virtually and in-person.
- Flexible hours (e.g. being available on weekends, holidays and weekday evenings).
