The Customer Experience Specialist role manages the in-store ordering process and delivery services, Uber Eats, Skip The Dishes, and Door Dash.
They will manage the fulfilment of the orders ensuring every order is correct, displayed beautifully in the boxes and/or bags, and provided to the right delivery partner in a friendly, timely manner.
The Customer Experience Specialist ensures the customer service area, inside and outside is always impeccably clean. And, they work closely with the baker to ensure there is enough stock to fulfil anticipated orders.
Store Opening:
- cleans the front of house area -- tables, windows, equipment, and floors
- prepare boxes and bags to fill orders
- connect tablets and printers and test to ensure they are working properly
- assists the baker to get things ready for opening. They will get pans ready for the baker, bring chocolate out, connect equipment, and get cookies from the main freezer area
Delivery Partner Orders
- accept and confirm orders from the tablets
- work with the baker to ensure there are enough cookies to fill orders in the appropriate time
- fill orders and label boxes and bags; each order must be double-checked to ensure accuracy
- greet delivery partners with a smile and give them their orders
In-Store Customer Experience
- Greet customers, and delivery partners with a smile as soon as they enter the store
- Make ice-cream sandwiches
- Clean counters, utensils, freezer, fridge, floors and restroom as needed
- Take out trash
Idle Time
- Decorate boxes, and bags for customers with stickers and hot paper
- Assist baker
Store Close
- Return all equipment to the storage location
- Wash and dry containers, utensils and equipment
- Take out trash
Production
- Organize supplies
- Assist baker to make cookies, organizing and measuring ingredients including flour, sugar, etc.
- Box & Store cookies
- Wash equipment (lifting heavy objects required up to 30 lbs)
- Decorate boxes
**Qualifications**:
- Love customer service and delighting customers
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to lift equipment and inventory (approximately 20-30 lbs max)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evenings
- Holidays
- Weekend availability
