Meirako is hiring a Studio Assistant to support our jewelry studio. This is a part-time position. This role involves assisting with customer service, marketing support, and Must be skilled at organizing. jewelry workshop / production support.

Must be good at organizing.

Your responsibilities will include:
**CUSTOMER SERVICE**

**ORDER FULFILLMENT**
You will pack and ship jewelry orders from our online website. You will keep track of the shipping status and follow up with customer orders as necessary.

**ORGANIZING AND CLEANING THE STUDIO**
Clean, organize and maintain studio work area.

**WEBSITE SUPPORT**
We are on the Shopify e-commerce platform, and experience with this platform is not necessary, but attention to detail and a willingness to learn are required.

You will maintain the inventory count on our website so it accurately reflects the jewelry on hand in our studio. As new items are created, you will write product descriptions, organize photos, and list the products for sale on our website.

**PICKUPS AND DROP-OFFS**
You will take deliveries to the Post Office, Chitchat, and Fed-Ex as needed.

**ORDER AND MANAGE JEWELRY SUPPLIES**
You will place orders from the workshop for any needed parts and supplies from our vendor and track their status.

**MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA**
You will assist with scheduling our social media marketing and engaging with customers when all of the tasks above have been completed.

**LIGHT BOOKKEEPING**
The Office Assistant will manage our daily bookkeeping in Accountedge. You will accurately record our jewelry sales and purchases in the software. You will monitor our accounts payable and receivable and send invoices to clients when necessary. As new jewelry is created in the studio you will add these items to our inventory in the software.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**
- Knowledge of jewelry or experience in the jewelry industry is not required, but a positive and can-do attitude is very important. Also, impeccable attention to detail is a must. Should be willing to learn.

- Learns and moves quickly and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment
- Highly dependable and responsible
- Takes initiative owns processes and can work autonomously
- Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing
- Able to manage your time across multiple tasks and projects
- Comfortable using computer programs
- Comfortable with being on social media
- Typing 50 WPM
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- You’re a team player who is excited to contribute your skills and ideas to a growing brand.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Location: Nisku (unitl April or May), Whyte Ave (after May)

**Salary**: $18 per hour

Hours: 4 hours per day, Mon to Friday (20 hours)

or 4 hours per day, Mon/Tue/Thur/Fri (16 hours)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
