**We are looking for the IT Helpdesk Support (Level 1) Technician (CONTRACT ROLE)**
The Helpdesk support role is an **ENTRY LEVEL POSITION **responsible for providing information technology help desk support throughout the organization. This position will be the first line of support for all incoming technical support tickets and phone calls.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Handle Tier 1 help desk escalations through tickets.
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
- Assist and support employees with troubleshooting of printer, workstation, or software related issues.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and software.
- Order and receive equipment.
- Maintaining records of software licenses.
- Performs remedial repairs on computers, laptops, printers, cellular and any other equipment.
- Help employees to relocate or move their equipment.
- Help to maintain a clean office environment.
- Create and keep documentation such as tutorials, procedure, etc.
- Escalate/communicate issues and concerns as necessary.
**Main requirements**:
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or Computer Networking & Hardware
- 1-2 years’ experience within the IT support field.
- Basic Active Directory Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of networking and windows domain
- Basic knowledge of Office 365 and Azure
- Friendly customer support.
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

**Salary**: $15.00-$40.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
**Education**:
- DCS / DEC (preferred)
**Experience**:
- IT support: 1 year (preferred)
