Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of contents and inspecting for any damages
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of items
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate shipping and receiving activities
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts to load and unload shipments
- Perform basic math calculations to verify quantities, weights, and measurements
- Putting furniture together for customers and the store
- Coordinate placement of furniture and appliances with Kemptville Interiors staff and track all locations of stock
**Skills**:
- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Experience putting together furniture
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as dollys, forklifts and hand pump carts
- Ability to accurately perform basic math calculations for inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate shipment verification and documentation

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
