We are currently looking for a full-time **Shipper** to join our team based in Surrey, BC. Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Shipper will be responsible for sending, accepting, and recording the movement of parts, supplies, and stock from vendors and suppliers and contributing to the company’s inventory management team.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Maintaining overall responsibility for all outgoing packaged goods.
- Packaging goods and organizing outgoing shipments.
- Meeting all shipping deadlines, completing waybills and all other related documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
- Procure quotes for shipments and communicate with parts department.
- Maintaining overall organization for the shipping area and requisite materials.
- Maintaining files and paperwork associated with incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Accurately keeping records of back orders as per procedure.
- Proactively organizing and keeping all parts areas clean.
- Performing cycle counts on a regular basis with accuracy and care.
- Playing an integral role in year-end inventory count (overtime required).
- Tracking any incoming or outgoing shipments as needed and assisting in the resolution of issues as they occur.
- Assist the receiver with incoming goods and provide departmental coverage as required.
- Assistance with miscellaneous inventory operation and maintenance at the discretion of the Materials Manager.

**Education, Experience, and Requirements**
- Experience with shipping and receiving in a warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
- Forklift license is an asset.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Time management skills.
- Accounting skills/background is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
