THE JOB:
Vanee Farm Centre is looking for an individual who is a self-starter with a good work ethic. The
precision agriculture specialist will provide technical and sales support to Vanee’s employees
and customers regarding agriculture technologies. The duties and responsibilities include, but
are not limited to:

- Provide product knowledge relative to the software and hardware on tractors, seeders,

recommendations based on analyzed information gathered direct from the relevant
machines.
- Provide on and off-farm support for customers, as well as be a training resource to

fellow specialists and sales professionals.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues including but not limited to displays,

control, mapping, and variable rate in cab technology, precision harvesting systems and
determine if field visits are required to resolve concerns through field validation/testing
on outstanding product issues.
- Have significant insight and understanding of the market in your area and be familiar

with the common types of precision operations as well as possible opportunities for
technological upgrades.
- Work closely with field support teams, service managers, and sales managers/staff to

address the needs of customers and proactively propose effective solutions.
- Call on customers and sell company’s products and services.
- Communicate manufacturer updates to sales staff.
- Conduct product meetings with customers and sales personnel.
- Complete product demonstrations and equipment deliveries whenever necessary.
- Keep current on product knowledge, features, and benefits of all products. Maintain

updated manuals and materials.
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company safety program at all
- times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
