**Go-Go Group Inc. is hiring a part-time After School Coordinator**

**About the position - **we are looking to hire a **part-time After School Coordinator** that appreciates children, treats them with respect, and enjoys being with them. As our After School Coordinator, you will deliver quality learning programs and activities for school-aged children. If you love focusing on children’s unique interests and helping them to learn and grow - this position will be a great opportunity for you.

**This is a part-time, primarily 4-6-hour shift position with the opportunity for full time hours during summer and camp weeks. The hours of the position during the school year are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 1:30-5:30; & 11:30-5:30 on Wednesdays.**

**Our hourly wage for an After School Coordinator ranges from $21-$23.47**:

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Providing safe, quality, and exceptional childcare programming to the children in our care.
- Creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere in our program for children and their families.
- Documenting and writing reports for safety, daily checklists, etc.
- Communicating effectively with children, parents, and co-workers.
- Always maintaining confidentiality.
- Ensure the children in your care are happy, safe, and healthy at all times.
- Maintaining on-site documentation to comply with government regulations.
- Act as the team lead to ensure each day runs smoothly.
- Assist the Assistant Coordinators with child management, documentation, and parent conversations.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- An Early Childhood Education certificate or Bachelor of Education degree.
- Shares Go-Go’s philosophy of treating children with respect and dignity: always taking the time to carefully listen to them.
- Good communication skills - ability to listen carefully, speak clearly, and remain calm.
- Would be described by your friends as a leader.
- Proven track record in a similar position.
- Workplace First Aid with CPR C and AED certification.
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector clearance.
- Social Development Check.
