Overnight Concierge - Casual on Call
The Peninsula and Norgarden are two beautiful retirement communities in the lovely seaside town of Sidney, BC. We are hiring for an overnight concierge.
This is a great position if you are a night owl, and you like diversity (from cleaning and responding to emergencies, to ensuring the security of our buildings and residents), and you don’t shy away from working well when you are alone.
There are enough duties to keep you busy through the night, but also allow for some down time. That said, shifts can be “run off your feet busy”, or fairly quiet. If you are in school or returning to school this could be the perfect position for you.
If you have worked with seniors that is a huge asset.
We are looking for someone who can think on their feet, is articulate, kind, and can remain calm and collected should an emergency happen.
This position is to back fill holidays and other requests for time off.

**Fine print**:
The shifts are from 8pm to 8am,
Wage is $20.00 per hour.
You will need a criminal record check (we pay), WHMIS and first aid.

COVID-19 considerations:
As per the Ministry of Health, all staff are required to have both COVID vaccinations and show a valid Vaccination Passport. At present, all staff are required to wear a mask while in either of our buildings.
