**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a current Class III Forklift Operator Safety Certificate.
- Minimum of two years' experience within the last four years in a hospital stores environment including transporting and storage of medical supplies and medical equipment.
- Excellent knowledge of medical and surgical supplies.
- Good working knowledge of Materials Management Information Systems and Inventory Control Systems is essential including the use of hand held scanning technology.
- Good interpersonal and communications skills with attention for detail and accuracy.
- Communication skills sufficient to understand both written and verbal directions.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Knowledge of proper body mechanics to be utilized during materials handling processes.
- Evidence of effective customer service, organizational, judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Flexible, self-directed and able to work effectively with mínimal supervision.
- Must be available for all shifts, vacation replacement, sick time and paid holidays
- Proficiency in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an asset.
- Consistent and regular attendance required.
- Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a new hire requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
