We are currently seeking a reliable Inventory/Quality Control Associate.

The ICA is responsible for direct examination of products to ensure that quality standards and procedures are met and aligned with legislation and customer specifications. Requiring a high level of attention to detail, the Quality Control Associate is responsible for strictly adhering to the organization's quality assurance procedures and policies and identifying defects and or production errors to prevent these materials from entering the supply chain. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.

Scope: Located in Mississauga, the position will manage multiple, ongoing tasks to ensure safe quality production of finished products. This position will work closely with Manufacturing, Shipping and Receiving and Replenishment.

Working Conditions
- Manufacturing plant environment
- Worksite location will require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Major Tasks & Duties:

- In process audits
- Carry out inspections on manufactured products as required by specifications.
- Report defects.
- Organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos.
- Maintain plant and working areas clean, organized, stocked with supplies as required
- Complete all others duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager
- Comply with all company policies

Knowledge/Skills and Experience
- Must be willing to work hands on with operation employees to ensure compliance and comprehension of production
- Highly motivated and self-directed, capable of multitasking, and able to work with mínimal
- supervision.
- Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields - 6 months minimum.
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to manage change on the floor and work well with shift supervisors
- Proficiency with Google
- Ability to do basic math
- Good communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills

**Job Type**: Permanent full time

Schedule: 8:00am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday or Monday to Friday 4:00pm to 11:00pm (afternoon shift)
