**Position: Professional Dog Bather**
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform **thorough bathing** services, including shampooing, conditioning, and rinsing, tailored to individual dog's coat and skin needs (e.g., medicated baths, de-shedding treatments).
- Utilize various **drying** techniques and equipment (e.g., high-velocity dryers, towel drying) safely and effectively to achieve optimal results.
- Proficiently brush and **de-shed coats** to remove loose fur, tangles, and matting before and after bathing.
- Accurately **trim and Dremel nails**, ensuring comfort and preventing injury.
- Thoroughly clean and pluck ear hair (if applicable) and flush ears.
- Express anal glands safely and hygienically (if within scope of practice and desired by employer).
- Monitor dogs for any signs of skin conditions, parasites, injuries, or behavioral issues and report concerns to groomers or management.
- Accurately record client and dog information, grooming notes, and any observed issues.
- Provide **excellent customer service**, fostering positive relationships and encouraging repeat business.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, including bathing tubs, drying areas, and equipment.
- Sterilize and maintain all grooming tools and equipment.
- **Assist groomers** as needed, preparing dogs for full grooming services.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
