We’re CannaConnect, one of Canada’s leading medical cannabis clinics. We connect individuals (predominantly military veterans) suffering from medical conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain with a trusted network of physicians and licensed cannabis producers. Our mission is to provide personalized care for individuals looking to improve their quality of life by educating them on how to effectively use medical cannabis, planting the seeds for a more natural path to health and wellness.
With this in mind, we’re looking for a new Patient Intake Coordinator to support our mission by helping us streamline the patient onboarding process and assisting the client care team in head office with daily administrative duties.
**Patient Intake Coordinator**:
Your primary goal in this role is to provide support as a member of our temp of expert health care practitioners and educators.
**Practically speaking, you will**:
- Register and onboard new patients, completing the intake process
- Schedule appointments with physicians for new and existing patients
- Update patient files accurately

**The Details**:
This is a full-time, permanent position located at our head office in Toronto at 127 Brisbane Rd. This is an in-office position and require you to come to the office Monday to Friday from 9-5, with a bit of flexibility depending on the circumstance. Your annual salary will be $45,000-$50,000 a year, based on your level of experience, with opportunities for advancement.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience handling administrative tasks and duties (e.g., working as an office administrator, office manager, office assistant, etc.)
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience using an EMR/electronic medical record system, or other similar online patient database would be an asset
- Fluency in both English and French (written and verbal) is preferred
