Our product catalogue is vast, highly diversified and state of the art, catering to the needs of the B2C and B2B in both enthusiast and professional markets. We are seeking a Full-time Print & Imaging Sales Consultant for our Toronto Store team.

PRINCIPAL FOCUS:
Under the direction of store management, a Print & Imaging Sales Consultant is responsible for serving the needs of our customers, meeting sales targets and all gross profit driving metrics including but not limited to service plans, accessories and applicable services while providing a best in class customer service experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide best in class service to customers
- Advises customers on the best choices for their imaging and print needs
- Focused on the end result: meeting sales targets with happy customers
- Meet sales targets through sales and sales related activities
- Follow up with quotes, orders and posted invoices
- Keep sales environment stocked, clean and tidy
- Focus on various Vistek sales programs to enhance sales
- Actively seeks methods for building relationship with customers and growing the client database
- Create optimal opportunities through:

- Follow up on quotes
- Follow up calls to previous customers
- Have an ‘anything for the customer’ attitude
- Focused on continuous learning to stay in touch with latest technology
- Keep personally up to date on products through the company website, seminars, web, magazines, discussions with colleagues, membership in associations etc.
- Keep environment organized, clean and tidy
- Complete other duties, projects and tasks as assigned
- Presents a professional image to match the Vistek brand
- Provide support to other departments when needed

- Excellent interpersonal skills to serve all types of people in a positive professional manner
- Ability to provide technical advice and solutions selling
- Ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships through strong customer service skills
- Sufficient assertiveness to be able to ask for the sale and close.
- Detailed and accurate, while multi-tasking
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

- Graduate of a recognized post-secondary fine arts and/or photo editing related program, or relevant experience
- Ability to remain organized with a strong attention to detail
- 1 or more years working in a professional print & imaging environment
- Extensive product knowledge in print & imaging equipment and products is a requirement to provide best in class service
- Proven familiarity with professional Adobe software, (Photoshop and Lightroom),
- Knowledge of editing tablets and colour management tools
- Great familiarity with photo imaging paper types and finishes
- General computer knowledge, installing drivers, setting up hardware i.e., hard drives is essential.
- Previous sales background is an asset
- Comfortable using computerized inventory or other ERP system
- Previous retail experience considered a definite asset
- Able to lift 30 lbs.
