Specific Accountabilities:
Board Liaison
- Liaises with the School Boards to monitor student attendance, withdrawals, throughout the semester.
- Sends final grades to individual secondary schools.
- Generates any reports requested from evaluation data. Seat allotment calculations.
- Registers and codes secondary school students as part time college Dual Credit students in Dual Credit courses, SWAC and OYAP.
- Ensures classes are filled and organizes placement of students based on their first and/or second choice.
Transportation Liaison
- Organizes and maintains transportation requirements for Dual Credit Activities and regular transportation including contracts with bus or taxi providers, purchasing and distribution of bus passes and parking passes.
Student Help Desk
- Answers inquiries from students regarding SCWI programs, courses, and events.
- Helps students navigate issues with usernames, passwords, program and transportation issues or changes. D2L access for students.
Administrative Support
- Coordinates meetings and activities on behalf of the S.C.W.I. department.
- Coordinates student and teacher orientations.
- Generates reports based on data collected to analyze the success of the different activities.
Event Coordination
- Coordinates Campus Connection and 1st day (college wide), including scheduling, ordering, organizing, presentations, and data collection.
About the Position:
This is a full-time support staff Bargaining Unit position reporting to the Manager, College Access Programs, working 35 hours per week at an hourly rate of $26.47.

Qualifications:

- Minimum two year diploma in Office Administration, or an equivalent level of education
- Minimum two years experience with Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook in a support role in an office setting
- Familiarity with CIS (Colleague, EDCS),and mental health first aid would be an asset
- Experience with enrollment and transportation is an asset
- Organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with external community partners and ability to make strong connections
- Problem solving skills with an ability to adapt to an ever changing environment
- Ability to effectively connect with students and support them with a variety of issues
