**Summary**:
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Manager Capital and Treasury provides leadership, guidance and oversight mostly related to the Hospital’s capital planning and reporting (including project accounting and Foundation granting support) and the hospital’s treasury functions (including short term and long term cash flow forecasting, short term and long term asset investment recommendations and related financing recommendations), as well as supporting the planning for the Joint Master Redevelopment project. In addition, this position oversees ancillary pension compliance and KW4OHT financial reporting support. Working with the Director of Finance and the VP Corporate Services & CFO, this position provides strategic direction and coordination for the annual capital budget process, is a key member of the Capital Advisory Committee, is responsible for regularly reporting cash flow and working capital forecasts to support recommending asset and related debt financing decisions for the Hospital, and oversees the financial planning and report support for the Joint Master Redevelopment project. Maintain the fixed asset and deferred capital grant/donation ledger, continuity schedules, capital project accounts, and reconciles monthly the detailed subsidiary ledger to the general ledger.

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of a university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline.
- Chartered Professional Accountant Designation required
- Minimum 5 years leadership experience in financial planning, reporting and analysis in a business environment
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills, OHRS/MIS Guidelines and Ministry of Health capital reporting.
- Requires one year of on the job learning to understand all requirements of the position (capital, pension and treasury) including month-end, quarter-end and year-end requirements
- Proven track record with building and maintaining cross-functional relationships is a necessity along with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on on-going project planning, business and strategic plans.
- Previous experience in a hospital financial management role supervising unionized and non-unionized staff is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team including: mentoring, coaching, problem solving, creating a positive culture and work environment, mediating conflict and motivating employees
