Reporting to the Construction Coordinator, the Lead Carpenter runs the job site, directing employees and supervising subtrades. You will work with our Construction Coordinator to organize and plan the project, lead and teach your assistants in executing the plan, ensure health and safety protocols are being observed, and ensure job progress is kept within industry standard timelines.

Tools and equipment are provided.

The ability to teach apprentices in the field is critical.

**Objectives**:

- Mondays to Thursday, starting at 7am.
- 40-50 hours per week
- Framing, interior finishing (Trim, Millwork, flooring), siding, doors & Windows
- Ability to read and execute plans.
- Lead and teach on-site apprentices and general labourers.
- Maintain on-site health and safety
- Report to the Construction Coordinator

**Skills & Credentials**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Red Seal desirable
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Valid G license
- Police Record Check
- Able to lift at least 50lbs
- 3 years of residential renovations experience
- 2 years in restoration construction desirable
- Experience supervising and instructing others desirable

**Compensation**:
Starting wages based on experience.

Paid travel to the jobsite
