Buck’s Tree Service is a fast growing company servicing Spruce Grove and surrounding areas. We offer high quality residential as well as commercial arboricultural services.

We perform a wide variety of tree maintenance services, including tree removal, pruning, stump grinding, disease identification, planting and storm damage work. Buck’s Tree Service is a locally owned and operated business dedicated to providing the highest level of customer service available in the industry today.

We are currently looking for an experienced **Arborist Apprentice / Stump Grinder Operator**to join our team.

**Responsibilities & Essential Duties**

- Adhere to safety standards set out by Buck’s Tree Services, including but not limited to identifying work site hazards, assessing and implementing appropriate barriers and creating effective work site plans
- Fill out daily truck log books and/or safety paperwork.
- Safely operate industry related equipment (Chainsaws, Chippers, Stump Grinders, Pruners, Hand Saws, etc.)
- Aid in perform arboricultural related work including but not limited to tree trimming, tree removals and tree felling, while working at various heights.
- Strong sense of teamwork, time management and organizational skills required.
- Communicate politely and effectively with customers, the general public, coworkers and management.
- Perform ground level tasks
- Physical fitness. Ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Exhibit a true passion for the arboriculture industry
- Valid class 5 driver's License with clean driver's abstract.
- First Aid Certification considered an asset
- Ability to tow and back up a trailer
- Ground disturbance Experience / Certifications
- Steel toed safety boots required
- Previous industry experience considered an asset
