**Position Title: PT Shipper**

**Reports To: Department Supervisor/Manager on Duty**

**Supervises**: N/A

**LOCATION: Barrie**

**SHIFT TIME**: Days and Afternoons (Flexible)

**DAYS OFF**: Saturday & Tuesday (Subject to change)

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- All shipping related functions, including loading & unloading of trailers
- Breaks down and assembles product in the pit area
- Performs returns audits as per specific shift function
- Takes action to correct any issues and to make improvements
- Directly helps the department to meet targets and goals while maintaining a healthy and safe work environment
- Other responsibilities as required

**REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITY & EXPERIENCE**:

- Able to work safely, in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
- Previous experience with push truck / forklift operation an asset
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Must be available to work days/afternoon shifts.
- Basic computer skills are required
- Able to stand and walk throughout the shift
- Can work well in a team environment and support team members, with mínimal supervision
- Strong communication skill and able to speak, read, and write English
- Days off may vary, weekend work might be required

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Warm and humid working environment in the summer months
- Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, and stand for extended hours
- Physically demanding, heavy lifting, must be able to handle weight up to 40 lbs.
