Manager, Creative Studio

Reporting to Senior Director, Marketing and Communications, **the Creative Studio manager** will contribute to Birks Group success by embodying and identifying the aesthetic and tone of voice for Birks Group (Birks jewelry and Maison Birks). The Creative Studio manager will ensure the highest level of creative output through the ideation, creation and development of creative initiatives across all touchpoints. They will demonstrate creativity and passion in understanding the brand’s voice and translate it into effective and engaging creative vehicles, working closely with Marketing, Visual Merchandising and eCommerce teams. Working directly with the Senior Director to propose creative concepts and production strategy, the Studio manager is responsible for overseeing the pre-production, production and post-production for all creative campaigns.

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate in refining the artistic interpretation of the brand strategy.
- Craft conceptual presentations to align business partners with creative marketing visions.
- Maintain consistency of brand design and style guidelines across all platforms.
- Facilitate strategic brainstorming sessions for creative development and project implementation.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to generate and execute creative content for Birks Group, including seasonal campaigns, product launches, collateral, and promotions.
- Oversee the entire creative project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality.
- Direct and provide feedback to the photography and studio team, overseeing post-production image selection and retouching for campaigns and product photography.
- Lead and motivate a team of Graphic Designers, ensuring they stay abreast of current design trends.
- Offer creative direction to internal teams, including the ecommerce team.
- Contribute to various creative projects within the company.
- Deliver high-quality work consistently, taking ownership from concept to implementation.
- Streamline processes and enhance efficiency in visual creative production and graphic design.
- Engage in additional tasks and special projects as required, supporting the Senior Director, Marketing & Communications relevant marketing activities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or DEC in Graphic Design
- Five years’ experience in a similar position.
- Previous experience as Senior Graphic Designer (in retail or fashion industry)
- Previous experience inspiring, developing and leading a Design Team
- Experience in creative and art direction.
- Experience in providing art direction in both graphic design and photo shoots.
- Possesses a passion for art and design in various fields and has a keen eye for luxury fashion.
