**Hours of work**: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

**Principal Duties & Responsibilities**:
LMS Specialist

Provides consultative direction and collaborates with stakeholders on requirements and opportunities for the expanded use of the LMS.
Identifies and communicates opportunities for process and quality improvements, providing feedback on usage, defects, and suggested enhancements.
Creates and manages user structures including the creation of user groups, learning cohorts and learning plans.
Manages the tracking of all content articles, including maintaining originals, course revisions, and history.
Manages the implementation, archiving, versioning and tracking of blended learning solutions, learning paths and other learning resources.
Serves as the point of escalation for support issues, which may include interaction with the LMS vendor and other vendor support services.
Manages relationships with third party vendors and facilitates the successful linkage of courses to the LMS.
Builds online assessments and evaluations in LMS for courses.
Maintains procedures and policies to ensure the security and integrity of systems/networks.

Education Administrator

Manages project plans for various education projects using platform such as MS Teams and/or MS Excel.
Leads the coordination of both technical and administrative aspects of continuing legal education sessions.
Schedules education sessions in consultation with presenters, Director, National Learning and Development and other stakeholders.
Leads the updating and maintenance of the education calendars including the firm’s learning management system (LMS).
Manages all logistics associated with both in-person delivery and virtual delivery including configuring MS Teams/Zoom meeting links, boardroom booking, room set-up, catering, technology and building access for external speakers.
Arranges for live streaming, videotaping or call-in access for education sessions as required.
Leads the development of the first draft of communications for invitations, sends invitations to education sessions and tracks responses.
Produces virtual sessions, including managing the primary meeting space, chat feeds, breakout rooms, screen sharing and other such aspects.
Directs internal and external partners in service delivery, troubleshooting and liaising with presenters during the session
Assists with tracking Law Society of Ontario rules regarding Continuing Professional Development.
Leads the development and maintenance of process documents, precedents and checklists.
Processes expense vouchers for education activities and updates budget documents.
Responsible for record keeping and collecting and compiling data for the purposes of internal reporting, reporting to the Law Society of Ontario and responding to Law Society of Ontario audits.

**Job Specifications**:
**Knowledge and Experience**:
University degree or college diploma, equivalent work experience will also be considered
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an LMS administrator or in a similar position
Experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant, law clerk or education/training administrator, ideally in a law firm setting considered an asset
Proven operational, organizational and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to build and sustain positive cross-functional relationships
Strong technical skills including troubleshooting, and understanding of directory, file structures, and systems
Working knowledge of Web authoring, protocols, development, and publishing tools such as Adobe Captivate, Camtasia and/or Articulate Storyline
Strong computer skills in all MS 365 Office Suite products, especially MS Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

**Skills and Abilities**:
Excellent customer service skills, with a responsive mindset
Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical concepts using simple language
Superior organizational skills
Working knowledge of web-based learning, e-Learning standards (e.g. SCORM), virtual learning, mobile learning and improving face to face delivery through a blended learning approach.
Ability to collaborate with others at all levels of the organization as well as vendors
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work well independently and as a team member
