We are currently seeking those interested in a **Labourer** position to join our team. They will work under the supervision of the Lead Hand and will assist the civil team with the installation of telecommunications infrastructure (buried cable, wire, or ducts) for various projects.

**Duties and Responsibilities include and not limited to**:

- Digging holes and trenches
- Pulling cable
- Operating equipment and tools
- Provide assistance with general site preparation and clean-up as directed
- Handle and distribute construction materials, as well as safely load and unload vehicles with supplies and equipment
- Able to run gas and power equipment (i.e., saws, drills, jumping jacks)
- Able to assess work environment for potential health and safety hazards
- Removal of all debris from work sites
- Assist with traffic control as directed
- Driving of an assigned work vehicle may be assigned
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned

**Job Requirements**:

- Ability to work and follow directions in challenging work environments
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand, lift 75 lbs, carry, bend, reach etc.
- Punctuality and flexibility
- Experience in a construction environment
- Ability to follow instructions
- Must be able to work in restricted and tight spaces and at heights
- Valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s Licence clear of serious offences under the Highway Traffic Act.

**Working Conditions**:

- Indoor/Outdoor working environment; ability to work in all weather conditions
- Travelling to various sites may be required
- Overtime work may be required
