**Position**: After Market Technical Sales & Support Representative
**Location**: Thompson, MB

**Purpose of Role**

The After Market Technical Sales & Support Representative is responsible for translating and explaining technical information to customers and clients, focusing on revealing how a product or piece of equipment can solve specific problems. Also responsible to prospect new sales opportunities, close sales, grow existing business, handle technical inquiries, and provide resolution and support for our customers.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions to customer needs and objectives.
- Understand customers business needs for developing a good sound knowledge of the local market conditions.
- Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas of improvement to exceed sales quotas.
- Forecast and track key account metrics (i.e. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
- Keep Management informed by submitting weekly reports including your schedule, accomplishments and long/short term objectives.
- Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment.
- Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.
- Visit customers and actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
- Prepare Quotes.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Generate and share competitive analysis and market intelligence. Know your competitors. Monitor your competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, new products, and delivery schedules.

**Qualifications**:
Education
- Minimum High School Diploma or Certificate of Completion is required

Experience
- One (1) + years’ experience in an office setting
- Proficient in MS Office

**Working Conditions**:

- Travel may be required
- Work hours may differ due to customer availability
- HSE Orientation

**Bona fide Occupational Requirements**:

- Must be able to complete all required training
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Must possess a valid passport
