**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Pharmacy assistant needed to support pharmacy staff by assisting with the technical components of dispensing within the pharmacy

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Fill prescriptions accurately, efficiently, and safely
- Accurate data entry of patient and prescription information
- Process and prepare blister packs
- Assist with inventory management
- Assist with cashier responsibilities, as required
- Respond to customer inquiries: in store and over the phone
- Engage with customers in a warm and positive manner
- Communicate effectively with other health care professionals
- Ensure work area is kept clean and well-organized
- Actively seek out new and innovative ways to improve processes
- Work together with pharmacist in a collaborative, team environment centered on customer care

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience in retail pharmacy
- Knowledge of pharmacy dispensary software (preferred but not required)
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional, self-motivated individual with a team player attitude
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both pharmacy team and customers
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Flexible work hours

**Salary**: Hourly, commensurate with experience While we thank you for your interest, only selected applicants will be contacted regarding the position.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $15.50-$16.50 per hour

All Customers are required to wear a mask, Common surfaces are sanitized regularly, curbside pick up available
