**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team at a busy sports bar located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. Your exceptional customer service skills, extensive knowledge of beverages, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our establishment.

**Responsibilities**:
**Customer Service**:
Provide exceptional and friendly customer service to all patrons, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Engage with guests, take orders, and make recommendations based on their preferences.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any concerns or issues promptly.

**Beverage Preparation**:
Prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks.
Follow standardized recipes and create consistent, high-quality beverages.
Customize drinks based on guest preferences while adhering to responsible serving guidelines.

**Order Management**:
Efficiently manage incoming drink and food orders from servers and guests.
Prioritize and coordinate orders to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Maintain accuracy in order preparation and delivery to the correct tables.

**Bar Maintenance**:
Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
Ensure the bar equipment and tools are properly cleaned and maintained.

**Menu Knowledge**:
Stay informed about the bar's drink offerings, specials, and promotions.
Educate guests about different types of beverages and assist them in making informed choices.

**Compliance and Safety**:
Adhere to all responsible alcohol service laws and regulations.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following health and safety guidelines.

**Team Collaboration**:
Work closely with other bartenders, servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
Assist colleagues during busy periods and support a positive team culture.

**Qualifications**:
Prior bartending experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of various types of alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and mixology techniques.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently under pressure.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
Must be of legal drinking age and possess a valid Serving It Right certification (or equivalent).

**Schedule**:
This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the bar's peak hours of operation.
