**Pay**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
The Executive Assistant and Bookkeeper supports The Grounds Guys of Winnipeg in day-to-day functioning through office support, financial management, and administrative support. Maintains a positive work environment through organization and support. Primary duties include bookkeeping, office administration, accounts payable and receivable. Executive Assistant & Bookkeeper is responsible for all administrative staff and the performance of the office functions.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following**:

- Ensure accounts are paid in a timely manner, following up with overdue accounts to ensure payment.
- Prepare and monitor cash flow report.
- Process payroll bi-weekly.
- Prepare monthly financial information on a timely basis.
- Maintain physical and electronic filing systems.
- Monitor and order offices supplies.
- Provide support to the General Manager to support overall company goals and objectives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the company.
- Uphold our company Culture of Care.
- Develop, maintain, and negotiate good relationships with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
- Schedule meetings and appointments as necessary.
- Manage online reputation through reviews.
- Maintain employee records.
- Develop professional working relationships with group benefits provider and ensure group benefits are administered effectively.
- Recruiting and onboarding activities.

**WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE**:

- At least 5 years of bookkeeping experience is essential.
- At least 3 years using all functionality of QuickBooks Online.
- Experience with recurring revenue is an asset.
- Certificate/Diploma in Business Administration preferred.
- In-depth knowledge and proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- The ability to adapt and change in a dynamically growing entrepreneurial company.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize jobs.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data.
- Self-directed with the ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Positive attitude and contribution to healthy work culture, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and coworkers.
