Landscape and Pool Construction Crew Lead

**Minimum Requirements for this role**:

- Must possess a valid **FULL G-class** driver’s license
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in landscape construction or pool construction
- Fluency in English, oral and written communication
- Personal mobile device with data plan for communication, time and project tracking
- Ability to work on call 24/7 during winter months for snow shovelling

**Technical Construction Tasks**
- Read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and grade stakes
- Manage all aspects of the job site, including excavation, layout, forming, grading, subbase compaction, and material installation.
- Coordinate and execute the following:

- Excavation and subgrade preparation
- Forming for concrete pads, walkways, curbs, and retaining features
- Installation of base materials and landscape structures
- Pouring and finishing concrete with precision and attention to detail
- Cutting and sealing of control joints to prevent cracking
- Supervise concrete activities including **forming, pouring, vibrating, trowel finishing, edging, and cutting control joints** to specification.

**Leadership & Project Execution**
- Lead a crew of 2-6 team members on a variety of landscape construction projects (e.g., pools, patios, retaining walls, grading, hardscape elements, including interlocking pavers, and natural stone features, drainage systems, etc.)
- Coordinate daily tasks and delegate responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow.

**Site Cleanliness & Safety**
- Maintain a tidy and hazard-free job site.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Load/unload tools, equipment, and materials at the beginning and end of each workday.
