Server/cashier

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change efficiently
- Assist with food preparation and ensure proper food handling and sanitation standards are maintained
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, cashier station, and kitchen surfaces in accordance with food safety regulations
- Manage multiple tables or customers simultaneously while providing attentive service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed to uphold sanitation standards
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not mandatory
- Must be at least 18 years old or older
