**What will you be doing?**

As a **Preschool Sport Coach**, you will ensure that all children are engaged, motivated and having fun while laying the groundwork for them to explore the world of sports. Responsibilities include:

- Developing lesson plans and leading preschool sport classes including tee ball, soccer, lacrosse, as well as multi-sport classes.
- Teaching fundamentals of sports: throwing, kicking, running, jumping, hopping and catching.
- Communicating with diverse groups of children and other staff.
- Conducting group lessons for children ages 2 - 5 years.
- Engaging, encouraging and motivating children to reach their goals.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Must have experience with a variety of sports
- Must be able to work split shift (9AM-11AM) & (2:30PM-4:30PM)
- Access to a reliable vehicle and a driver’s license
- Must meet province requirements for childcare employment
- Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR
- Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements
