**Role Summary**:
The Accounts Receivable Administrator is responsible for processing monthly rent billings, accurately inputting lease and tenant activity data into the accounting system and maintaining tenant files.

**Responsibilities**:

- Enter new leases into the accounting system and save to shared files
- Process move-ins, reviewing the lease and backup information to verify details
- Prepare daily bank deposits of cheques received
- Process N4’s on a monthly basis and other notices as requested
- Process rent increase notices on a monthly basis
- Correspond with the Building Services Office on a daily basis; respond to requests and inquiries on tenant accounts, receive and process various tenant information (e.g. parking paperwork, change in bank info for PAFT, etc.)
- Processes monthly rent billings and PAFT files for the bank
- Input tenants move outs as vacate notifications are received
- Prepare and send rent receipts to tenants as requested
- Review AR aging reports and ensure prepaid rent is applied to relevant charges
- Do final accounting on vacating tenants
- Process deposit interest at year-end
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy
- Provide reception coverage and assist with miscellaneous administration tasks as assigned
- Prepare collections and submit them to agency via the portal or courier

**Qualifications**:

- Secondary School Diploma required
- Integrity and strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships
- Operates with a sense of urgency
- Strong leadership and drive for results
- Ability to handle simultaneous projects and deliver in agreed upon timelines
- Excellent oral & written communications skills required

**Hours of Work**:
Total weekly hours between 37.5-44 hours a week, with standard office times of 8am-4:30pm. Some overtime may be required under special circumstances related to specific activities.
