Test Venue Supervisor

**Administrative**

Prepare testing rooms and wait rooms.

Prepare test day documentation.

Oversee and participate in all test day activities such as identity management and security maintenance.

Ensure test runs to standard and all protocols are followed.

Complete and maintain records and logs.

Deal with and report all incidents, emergencies or security breaches.

Complete associated administrative tasks.

Ensure the labs are left ready for the next testing session.

**Team Supervision**

Ensure all team members deliver a friendly and professional customer service experience.

Organize workday schedule for the testing team while following all relevant labour standards.

Supervise testing team and ensure all procedures and policies are adhered to.

In conjunction with the Test Centre Manager and Director, identify areas of need for team member training and address any staffing underperformance issues.

**Education and Experience**

Post-secondary education

At least one-year experience in managing a small team

At least one year of experience in a fast-paced customer facing role

**Skills and Attributes**

Excellence in customer service

Comfort using computers and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues

Ability to adhere to policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality

A high level of attention to detail

Ability to manage competing demands in a high-stakes environment

Ability to deal with non-standard situations using ethical principles

Ability to positively and proactively manage a small team

Comfort in clearly and effectively reading aloud in English

Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate sensitivity to cultural diversity

Essential:
Ability to pass a police record check.

Pay rate: $26 per hour

Training will be provided.
