RRA is looking for a results-driven **Skid-Steer Operator **who is a self-starter, and always looking for improvement opportunities, and can adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment**.**

Regional Recycling operates several busy, high-volume recycling depots and we’re looking for enthusiastic employees for our Abbotsford location.

**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR..**
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly.
- Able to work as part of a team and independently when needed.
- A problem solver and someone who shows initiative.
- High commitment to personal safety and the safety of others.
- Previous work experience in a warehouse is a bonus.
- Previous experience operating forklift and a Skid-Steer with Joystick controls is required.

**WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO**

Reporting directly to managers, employees will work in a team to perform various tasks;
- Ability to operate various equipment such as Skid-steer, Forklift, etc.
- Transport various materials and load/unload material safely using a skid steer.
- Operate and control equipment safely in varying ground conditions.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
- Comply with safe working procedures and practices.
- Willing and able to assist ground crew when equipment/machine, is not in use.
- Clean up throughout the yard to maintain production and cleanliness of the facility and a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
- Other tasks as assigned by the managers or supervisors.

As skills develop, further training for additional tasks will be provided to employees.
- Please note that access to a vehicle is preferred as transit is not easily accessible._

Pay: $17.40-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
