As the Learning Manager you will be responsible for designing training programs, including instructor led and virtual. You will work closely with the Internal Subject Matter Experts and the Learning & Development (L&D) team to develop and maintain training material, courseware, and other related content to maximize system value and understanding.
**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES**
- Supporting the L&D team including assisting in troubleshooting LMS functionality, maintenance and overall administration.
- Develop, implement and maintain eLearning/multimedia projects varying in size and complexity.
- Consult with the Subject Matter Experts to understand learning objectives, requirements, and instructional design.
- Make recommendations on media elements and provide development timelines as necessary
- Stay abreast of current learning trends and eLearning development practices
- Develop, monitor and report regarding eLearning technology & outcomes.
- Support training team, as needed, in facilitation of content on-site and virtual.
- Works hand in hand with SME’s to ensure scope and direction of each project is on schedule and on task.
- Maintain Institute of Excellence Branding through communication, feedback surveys and training
- Provide Leadership to the L&D Project management through the intake process including: developing readiness kit content; virtual learning calendar and more.
- Finding connections in the learning department through all of the content and weaving through “The Movati Way”
- Commitment to current Movati Operations Procedures and supporting “in the club” days for ground truths
**TEAM MANAGEMENT**
- Conducts weekly one-on-one meetings with direct reports to ensure effective communication, planning, coordination and alignment.
- Provides coaching, mentorship, direction and support to direct reports to facilitate their success and skills development.
- Performs and assists with annual employee performance evaluations and conducts ongoing coaching and training to ensure high levels of performance.
- Effectively coordinates and administers annual salary review process with support from the People & Culture Business Partner.
**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- A college degree or diploma in a related field or formal eLearning certification/accreditation or equivalent education and experience (not necessary but an asset)
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience designing, developing and implementing interactive e-Learning programs and courseware
- Expert level experience using Articulate Storyline
- Proven experience incorporating graphics, animations, digital audio, video, other multimedia elements & interactivity to support teaching and learning
- Experience in Adult Curriculum/ (classroom and/or e-learning) of on the job and classroom training in a service industry business working with entry level through managerial level employees.
- Must possess a creative approach to eLearning development

- A passion for fitness. Demonstrated knowledge of fitness environment and culture or related industry culture focused on providing an exceptional customer experience.
